Chishtiya Karimiya Dargah Sharif, Indore is a sacred and historical spiritual center rooted in the enduring legacy of Sufism and the teachings of the great Chishtiya silsila. Nestled in the heart of Indore, this blessed Dargah serves as a radiant beacon of peace, unity, and divine love for people of all backgrounds and beliefs. It stands as a testament to centuries of spiritual devotion, healing, and communal harmony.
The Dargah is dedicated to Hazrat Abdul Karim Chishti (RA) and other revered saints of the Chishtiya order, whose lives exemplified unconditional service to humanity, divine remembrance (zikr), and inner purification. Their teachings continue to inspire generations, offering spiritual solace and moral guidance in today’s fast-paced world.
At the core of Chishtiya Karimiya Dargah Sharif lies the principle of “Ishq-e-Ilahi” (Divine Love) and Khidmat-e-Khalq (Service to Humanity). Whether through daily prayers, community langar (free meals), charitable outreach, or spiritual counseling, the Dargah remains deeply committed to uplifting the souls and lives of the people it serves.
Born into a lineage blessed with spiritual insight and piety, Sarkaar Sh. was drawn to the remembrance of Allah (Zikr) and the company of saints from an early age. He sought spiritual wisdom not for worldly gain, but to elevate hearts and bring people closer to the Divine through love, compassion, and inner purification. He was known for his gentle speech, powerful prayers, and ability to heal both physical and emotional suffering through spiritual presence and dua.
Sarkaar Sh. was a murid (disciple) in the Chishtiya Karimia tradition, a path known for embracing all of humanity with open arms, regardless of caste, creed, or status. Under the spiritual guidance of his murshid (spiritual master), he underwent deep training in tasawwuf (Sufism), silence, and spiritual disciplines that prepared him for his life’s divine mission.
His Urs Mubarak (death anniversary) is now celebrated with deep reverence every year, drawing devotees, scholars, and lovers of the Sufi path from across the country. The Dargah Sharif that now stands at the site of his resting place is not just a monument of stone—it is a living symbol of divine mercy, unity, and the unbroken spiritual chain of the Chishtiya tradition.
Today, his teachings continue to guide through gatherings of Zikr, Qawwali, Langar, and community service. The fragrance of his legacy is kept alive by his successors, disciples, and the ever-growing number of hearts touched by his light.
Along with Ziyarat (pilgrimage) and prayers, we engage in social service, education, women’s empowerment, and helping those in need.
