The Khanqah is more than just a physical space — it is the spiritual and communal soul of the Dargah. Traditionally established by Sufi saints, the Khanqah serves as a center for devotion, guidance, learning, and community service. What Happens in the Khanqah?

  • Spiritual Gatherings (Majlis): Devotees gather to remember Allah, listen to spiritual discourses, and seek the blessings of the saints.
  • Zikr and Dua: Regular sessions of Zikr (remembrance of God), duas, and recitation of Qasidas and Manqabats create an atmosphere of divine presence and peace.
  • Teaching and Guidance: The Khanqah is where seekers come to learn about Tasawwuf (Sufism), ethical living, and inner purification, guided by the teachings of the Sufi masters.
  • Hospitality & Service: Emphasizing love, unity, and humility, the Khanqah welcomes all — offering food (Langar), shelter, and support to the needy and travelers.

Legacy of the Khanqah

Historically, the Khanqah has been the home of saints and their disciples. It is where generations of murids (disciples) received training in Sufi discipline, and where the light of spiritual wisdom continues to pass from one heart to another.

The Khanqah at our Dargah was established by Hazrat Baba Sahab, and remains a vibrant space of faith, healing, and unity. Even today, people from all walks of life visit the Khanqah seeking peace, purpose, and spiritual fulfillment.
